So here we bring you the recipe about the famous honey chicken recipe for Rosh Hashanah  which is also known as joy of kosher.  firstly we will tell you about the ingredients used in this. A chicken  about three and a half pounds cut it into pieces , a three fourth cup of honey , one forth cup of soya sauce , one forth cup of olive oil , one table spoon of garlic powder , and one tea spoon of black pepper . It is prepared as first we firstly heat the oven to 375 degree then slowly grease the pan with non sticking cooking spray .Then wash the chicken let it be dry and then place it in the prepared pan. Meanwhile in a small bowl mix all the ingredients as honey, soya sauce, olive oil, garlic powder and black pepper and pour it over the chicken . Now bake it without being covered at 375 degrees for approx one hour until it becomes slightly brown. Now for the people who are vegetarian we bring you the delicious fennel and carrot soup. The ingredients for this Rosh Hashanah recipe are as follows:
·         6 tablespoons margarine divided
·         1 large funnel bulb, thinly sliced
·         1 onion
·         2 carrots , with being chopped ¼ cup tofutti cream
·         1 small Yukon gold potato ¼ cup of chest nuts
·         2 sprigs thyme kosher salt and black pepper
·         1 bay leaf and 4 vegetable broth  and 1 table spoon of pure maple syrup or honey
Now firstly heat 4 table spoon of margarine in a pot and mix it with all the other ingredients such as fennel, onion, carrot, potato thyme and bay leaf and then season them with salt and pepper. Now heat them upto 45 - 60 min until they become soft and have released their moisture. Now add broth and boil it upto 8-10 hours with seasoned salt and pepper. Now working in batches, pure in a blender, Pourit into a clean pot seasoned with salt and pepper, meanwhile heat the two remaining margarine tablespoon in a small saucepan add chestnuts and heat it upto 4 minutes until it becomes brown. ·         1 ½ cup lukewarm water
·         1 packet of dry yeast
·         1 tea spoon of sugar
·         1 egg
·         3 egg yolks
·         ¾ cup of honey
·         2 table  spoon of canola oil
·         2 table  spoon of vanilla
·         5 to 7 cups of flour
·         3 medium granny smith apples
·         ¼ cup sugar
·         2 tablespoon turbinado sugar

Egg wash ingredients

·         1 egg
·         1 tablespoon cold water
·         ½ teaspoon salts
In a large bowl, combine eggs water oil and honey . add yeast and raisin . add the flour and then salt . its recommended to leave 1 cup of flour aside and add it. Knead the dough for 10 minutes,make the dough less airy and less springy. Cover the bowl  with plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for atleast 1 ½ hour . after it knead it for few more minutes and form the loaves . place the challahs in a pan , cover them and let them rise again for 30-45 minutes. In the mean time preheat the oven to 180 degree . brush challahs with beaten egg and for 40 minutes, until their colour changes to golden brown. Remove the challah from the oven and from the pan and cool on a wire rack. After half an hour challah is ready for serving.. happy  rosh hashanah challah recipe

Now here we come up with the brisket recipe for the first day of the jewish new year also known as rosh Hashanah, so the ingredients are as follows
·         3 lb. first cut brisket
·         2 table spoon paprika
·         2 table spoon garlic powder
·         2 table spoon dried chives
·         1 table spoon salt
·         2 large Spanish onions
·         ½ cup balsamic vinegar
·         ½ cup honey

Now firstly cut the onions in round. Place in the bottom of the baking dish them combine paprika, garlic powder, chives and salt in a small bowl. Cover brisket with spice mixture. Pat it in gently until the meat can hold no more. Now place the meat on the top of the onion and put it into the oven at 400 F for at least 1 hour. After 1 hour take the meat out , add balsamic vinegar and honey and cover the baking dish tightly. Now cook it for another 4 hours at 250 degree until the meat becomes fork tender .Then refrigerate the meat until it becomes completely cold (nearly up to 7 hours) then cut it into thin slices. Now we bring you Sephardic Rosh Hashanah dish . firstly we  start with the ingredients
·         ½ table spoon
·         1 tea spoon sweet paprika
·         ½ tea spoon turmeric and ¼ tea spoon cumin
·         1/8 tea spoon black pepper
·         4 table spoon olive oil plus 1 tea spoon
·         2 onions and 10  dried apricots
·         6 dried figs
·         ¼ cup dried cherries and pumpkin seeds
·         1 cup long grain rice
·         ½ tea spoon orange zest
·         1 cup pomegranate seeds

Mix all the sweet paprika ,turmeric cumin,and black pepper in a small bowl.  Heat 2 table spoon of olive oil . Add rice and spices and stir well cook it for 3-4 minutes making sure that rice gets well coated with the olive oil. Add 1 cup of water cook for 20 minutes more and let it sit for 15 minutes covered. In the mean time heat 2 table spoon of olive oil and add onions in it for nearly 20 minutes .Transfer onions to the plate in the same skillet , heat 1 table spoon of olive oil add dried fruit and pumpkin seeds and cook it for 3-4 minutes . at last when the rice is ready fluff it with a fork add onions, dried fruit, pumpkin seeds and lemon zest and toss them well…  and right before serving sprinkle pomegranate seeds on the rice. Now we will tell you about the steak salad for Rosh Hashanah recipes. Firstly we will start with the ingredients, for this we need
·         2 tablespoon with olive oil divided
·         1 1-lb, grilling steak , orskirt steak
·         12 ounces fingerling potatoes thinly sliced
·         ½ English hot house cucumber
·         6 radishes
·         2 cup green leaves
·         Kosher salt and black pepper

Firstly heat I tablespoon in skillet, mix steak with salt and pepper. Cook it for 5-8 minutes over medium high heat. Now wipe out the skillet and heat the remaining oil for 8-10 minutes. Add potatoes in it with seasoned salt and pepper and toss it occasionally for 8-10 minutes . there is your steak salad ready .. you can decorate and serve it as you want.
