Rosh Hashanah is celebrated in many ways , in different ways by different Jews . A prayer book named Machhzor (a book which contains specific prayers of the high holidays) . As for the similar aspects of this festival what goes in the Jewish house of worship (synagogue) is evacuation from the “standard” Friday night and Saturday morning of the weekly Sabbath (Judaism day of rest and seventh day of the week).  A special holiday is also held before Rosh Hashanah which is called Silichot  ( Hebrew for forgiveness) .

A shofar is blown with the prayers. There are distinct ways of blowing the shofar .  In other Rosh Hashanah practice which is also known as Tashlich , in this practice the Jewish say particular prayers and they toss dry pieces of bread into the place where the water is not stable. In this process the dry pieces of bread are referred to the sins of the person which are then washed away. For Rosh Hashanah two candles are lit with unique prayers , rhymes , melodies or songs to represent the uniqueness of the holiday.

Some people brush the challah  (a unique bread that joins the celebration of the Shabbat that signify the endless circle of life and the crown of God’s kingship over a human being.
It is traditional to arrange the dinner table with one of the best bedding and to wear new unique cloths to show the accent of the occasion.
In the Sephardic tradition people place the covered basket of the fruit as to show that no one knows that what the upcoming year will bring for you.
